Sports Medicine Internship

Grand Prix Equine is committed to the training and success of future equine veterinarians. Our hands-on sports medicine internship program is strictly ambulatory, and interns are equipped with their own practice vehicle from day one. They will become proficient at lameness diagnosis, use of inertial sensors (the Equinosis Q), intra-articular therapies, digital radiography and ultrasonography, gastroscopy and upper airway endoscopy, as well as a wide breadth of emergency medicine cases.

Interns are provided housing in Connecticut and Florida in the winter if needed. There are also opportunities to spend time at Vermont Summer Festival in the summer as well as Wellington in the winter. Intern applicants are required to visit the practice for consideration.
