Inertial Sensors for Gait Analysis
We’ve recently added a technology to our lameness exams to enhance our ability to detect subtle or multi-limb lameness. This system uses inertial sensors placed on various parts of the horse to identify asymmetry in their gait. The detailed report from this program is useful for proceeding with further diagnostics or to determine if previous therapies were effective.
The most important characteristic of any medical device is its clinical effectiveness and safety. So the Neovet's engineers carefully preserved those characteristics that made previous equine shockwave therapy technologies effective. We have maintained the electrohydraulic energy source and the delivery remains focused.
