Ruben

Ruben… he is 21 this year. Friesian stallion that I trained up to GP. Competed successfully in GP CDI division open & freestyle. Throughout my time with him several riders got a chance to ride and compete him. From AA riders to pro doing their first CDI. Currently he’s being the perfect school master to one of our AA riders learning the ropes of 4th level. He’s constantly participating in several of our clinics at BREC Dressage. He will continue teaching riders until he tells me he’s done but he’s not close to that yet. It takes a special rider to learn how to put a Friesian canter together, so I’ve enjoyed the journey helping them understand the not-so- easy technique and balance it takes to accomplish that.
He’s definitely a school horse extraordinaire, hopefully you will consider him for this award.
