Brian is a veterinary podiatrist, Certified Journeyman Farrier, with expertise in complex conditions of the equine hoof. Prior to and throughout veterinary school, Dr. Beasley apprenticed and worked as an associate farrier with Steve Sermersheim, CJF, TE, AWCF.

 

After earning his DVM from the University of Illinois, Dr. Beasley worked with the Equine Podiatry Service at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, before becoming a Clinical Assistant Professor in Equine Sports Medicine and Podiatry at the University of Georgia, where he also received his Diplomate in Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation.

 

Dr. Brian has expertise in diagnosing and managing complex conditions of the equine hoof including navicular syndrome, quarter cracks and laminitis. He will be available for consultation on farm with a full set of shoes and clogs, as well as via telehealth.​
